Executive Directors: Debora Harris BCaBA & Nicole T. Dibra


Our Founders & Executive Directors, have completed their coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis for Special Education through Penn State’s Coursework Certificate Program. They also received their certificate in Professional Development in Autism through Penn State University. They are Founders of the ELIJA Foundation, Long Island’s largest educational organization specializing in the treatment of children with Autism. They are Executive Directors, of The ELIJA School, is a behaviorally based non profit private school for children with autistic spectrum disorders in Nassau County. Mrs. Harris is a Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst and an active member of the New York State Association for Behavior Analysts. She is also a consultant for local public school programs which service children with Autism. Mrs. Dibra has been an ABA instructor over the past 4 years. She currently provides hands on training of staff as well as conducts workshops in teaching procedures for those working with children with Autism. Both Mrs. Harris & Mrs. Dibra are parents of children with Autistic Spectrum Disorders and offer ongoing seminars in a variety of topics pertaining to intervention, advocacy and parenting children with ASD.



Clinical Director:Allison Schear, M.A., BCBA
Allison is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst,has her Bachelors in Psychology from Stony Brook University as well as her Master's Degree in Early Childhood Special Education from Touro College. Allison has been working with children on the Spectrum for the past seven years and has worked with a wide range of ages. She also provides parent training and supervision for children with home programs

Our ABA Instructors
Are all experienced and trained in working with children with autism, of a variety of ages, using behavior analysis. They range from certified teachers to degreed graduates in a related field pursuing their certification in behavior anlsyis and or special education. They are all supervised and or trained under Certfied Special Educators and or Certified Behavior Analyst. Based on the criteria your district sets forth, we will provide you with a instructor who meets their requirements. Please contact us about sending a contract to your district, if they do not already have one with us, so we can provide services to your school aged child (ages 5 and up). Private pay session are available for those who do not have district appointed hours, or children in Early Intervention or CPSE . Email us or Call us for more information
